At GoBIG Systems, Inc. (“GoBIG Systems,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) we are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, protect and delete information when you visit our websites (the “Site”), interact with us, or use our services — including MyPerfectSite™, our search engine optimization application for business owners.

By using our Site or our services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information

Information that identifies you as an individual, including but not limited to:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Company name
  • Job title
  • Mailing address

1.2 Business Information

Information about the business you are marketing, which you provide or which we collect on your instruction:

  • Your website address and the pages on it
  • Your Google Business Profile listing, as published publicly by Google
  • The services you offer and the towns and cities you serve
  • The search phrases you choose to track, and the positions we measure for them

1.3 Non-Personal Information

  • Browser type
  • IP address
  • Device type
  • Pages visited on our Site
  • Referring URLs

1.4 Information Collected Through Automated Technologies

We use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to collect data about your interactions with our Site. This information helps us improve your experience and deliver relevant marketing materials. We do not use cookies to collect or infer anything about your Google account.

2. Google User Data

This section describes how MyPerfectSite™ accesses, uses, stores, shares, protects and deletes data obtained through Google APIs. It applies only if you choose to connect your Google Search Console account. Connecting is optional, the application works without it, and you can disconnect at any time.

2.1 What we access, and with what permission

When you connect Google Search Console, we ask Google for a single permission:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly — View Search Console data for your verified sites.

This permission is read only. It does not allow us to change your Search Console settings, submit or remove sitemaps, request indexing or removal of URLs, or alter your website or your Google account in any way. We request no other Google permission for this feature, and we do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar or any other Google service.

Using that permission we call two Google endpoints:

  • Sites list — to see which Search Console properties your Google account can access, so that the correct property for your business can be selected.
  • Search Analytics — to read the search performance figures described below.

2.2 What we store

We store only aggregated search performance figures. We do not receive and do not store the identity of any person who searched for or visited your website.

  • Daily totals for your site: date, clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position.
  • Weekly detail: for each week, the search queries and the page addresses on your own website that Google reported, each with clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position. We keep up to one hundred queries and one hundred pages per week, ranked by impressions.
  • Connection details: which Search Console property is connected, the list of properties your Google account could see at the time you connected, when we last collected data, and any error Google returned.
  • An access credential (an OAuth refresh token) so that we can continue collecting your figures on a schedule without asking you to sign in to Google every week.

2.3 How we use it

Google user data is used solely to provide and improve the features you are using MyPerfectSite™ for:

  • Showing you how your search traffic has changed over time.
  • Showing which search phrases and which of your pages earn impressions and clicks.
  • Preserving that history beyond Google’s own retention window, so that you can still look back at it later (see 2.6).
  • Producing reports for you, on your request.

2.4 What we never do with it

We do not use Google user data for any of the following, and we never will without first obtaining your explicit consent and updating this policy:

  • Targeted or personalized advertising of any kind.
  • Selling, licensing or transferring it to data brokers, advertising networks or any other information reseller.
  • Determining creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
  • Training, retraining or fine-tuning artificial intelligence or machine learning models, whether generalized or personalized, whether ours or a third party’s. Google user data is not sent to any artificial intelligence service.
  • Any purpose other than providing and improving the features described in section 2.3.

Human beings do not read your Google user data except where you have specifically asked our support staff to look at a problem with your account, or where we are required to do so by law.

2.5 How we share it

We do not sell Google user data and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. It is held by the infrastructure providers that run our application on our behalf, under contract and solely to provide the service:

  • Supabase — the database in which your figures are stored.
  • Netlify — hosting for the application.
  • Fly.io — the background service that collects your figures from Google on a schedule.

We may also disclose it where required by law, or to protect our legal rights.

2.6 How long we keep it, and why

Google deletes Search Console data after approximately sixteen months. We keep what we have collected for longer, on purpose: past that point our copy is the only record of what your search traffic did, and being able to compare this year against two years ago is the reason the feature exists.

We therefore retain your Search Console figures for as long as your account is open, unless you ask us to delete them.

2.7 How to disconnect or delete it

  • Disconnect at any time from the My Account screen in MyPerfectSite™. This deletes our stored access credential immediately, and we stop collecting anything further. Figures already collected are kept so that your history remains visible to you.
  • Revoke directly with Google at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Our access ends immediately.
  • Delete your history. Email cs@myperfectsite.com and we will permanently delete all Google user data held for your account within thirty days.
  • Close your account and all Google user data associated with it is deleted along with it.

2.8 How we protect it

Google user data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted at the database level so that one customer’s figures cannot be read by another. The access credential described in 2.2 is held separately from all other data, in storage that no browser and no signed-in user can read — it is reachable only by the background service that collects your figures.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. How We Use Your Other Information

  • To provide and improve our services
  • To communicate with you about our offerings
  • To send marketing materials, including emails and text messages, where you have opted in
  • To customize content based on your preferences
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. Sharing of Information

4.1 Service Providers

Third-party vendors that assist with hosting, data storage, email marketing, text message delivery, analytics and other business functions.

4.2 Legal Compliance

Law enforcement or regulatory agencies when required by law or to protect our legal rights.

4.3 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the new entity. Google user data would remain subject to the commitments in section 2, or would be deleted.

5. Your Choices

SMS and email marketing are delivered only if you opt in. You can opt out at any time.

5.1 Opt Out of Marketing Communications

  • Click the “Unsubscribe” link in any email
  • Reply “STOP” to any text message

5.2 Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect your experience on our Site.

5.3 Access and Deletion

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing cs@myperfectsite.com. We respond within thirty days.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest and access controls at the database level. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Third-Party Links

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites, and we encourage you to review their policies.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our Site and services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the Effective Date updated. If we change how the application uses Google user data, we will notify affected users directly before the change takes effect.
